    Anyone who can afford to shoot 35 can afford a proper telecine...or so I would have thought.

    Agreed...

    Unless you are that guy with the 1000 dollar Konvas and find old film and processes at home.

    Then I guess you want to spend the time to build the scanner and then cut and paste each frame together.

    Sounds like fun already.

    I am glad that there are guys like that building and tinkering but I would rather just spend the cash on something good from the start.
